Mini Classes On The Thought Of

Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel

Below are links to a series of brief (under 5 minutes) presentations on the thought of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel.

Rabbi Heschel has been a source of great inspiration to me in terms of prayer, Mitzvot and an overall appreciation of God and people. I lament that he is not studied widely in Orthodox circles. I beleive that if his teachings address seom fo the key isues facing Modern Orthodoxy including lackluster prayer and a seeming boredom with Judaism.

Most of the pages I refer to are from God In Search of Man. I highly reccomend purchasing the book.

Lesson 1: The Search For a Personal God

Lesson 2: Take Religion Personally
